Solar plant monitoring platform
One screen for every installed PV system, across three inverter vendors, with expected-yield models, alerts and client reports.
Who it is for
Solar installers and O&M providers who have systems on SolisCloud, APsystems and Growatt and are tired of three portals.
What it does
- Collector on a 15-minute timer pulling each vendor's API, with quota rationing where the vendor limits calls
- Expected yield per plant (kWp × performance ratio × monthly sun hours) compared with actual production, so underperformance shows as a number, not a feeling
- Inverter state, alarms, grid voltage readings and installation characteristics; rule-based diagnostics that state the rule behind each finding
- Email alerts to the partners; monthly and maintenance reports to clients that stay in draft until a partner approves them
- A public read-only report per plant by token link (energy only, no prices) and a demo mode that hides client names for teaching
A similar build for you
Any fleet of devices that report to vendor clouds — inverters, meters, compressors, vehicles — gets the same treatment: one collector per vendor, one model of what 'normal' is, alerts and reports on top.

How it is built
Python collector on systemd timers, SQLite time series (5-minute power for 90 days, daily energy forever), vendor OpenAPIs (Growatt, SolisCloud, APsystems), Flask intranet, reportlab PDFs, SES email.
